statement about same sex marriage:
On June 26, 2015 the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that same-sex marriage is now legal in all 50 states. As we model our worship, assembling, fellowship, love, and obedience after Christ Jesus and the apostles of the New Testament, we love everyone regardless of their personal behaviors. At St. Cloud church of Christ, “We must obey God rather than men” as stated by the apostles in Acts 5:29. We believe God created marriage to be between one man and one woman and sexual activity is to occur within that relationship exclusively. The Word of God widely denounces all sexual behavior between people of the same sex. Jesus says, in John 14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” Because we love God we keep His commandments and as such, St. Cloud church of Christ will not host or perform weddings for same sex couples.
building & facilities:
The Kingdom of God is not a building nor does it have geographical boundaries. As such, the building where we assemble or come together is not holy or sacred. While the primary use of the building is assembling to worship and conduct bible classes, at times, we and others come together in the building to share a meal, fellowship, provide magnanimous events of service to the community, and occasionally, civil or secular functions. If you have any questions pertaining to the building or building usage, please email us.
